Medical care taken care of!
The organization of Marbella 4Days Walking has signed a contract with the Life & Sun Clinic to ensure the medical assistance during the vent. The walkers can count on the help of doctors and physiotherapists at the tent of the clinic at Las Terrazas del Puerto Deportivo.
It’s the second year that the Life & Sun Clinic will take care of the medical assistance during M4DW. “When we saw the event we knew immediately that we wanted to participate, it is an event that attracts an international audience and has a great ambience. Apart from offering medical help for problems that might occur during the event, we also offer possibilities for regaining strength after having walked 20 or 30 kilometers” says dr. Luis F. Jaime, anaesthetist, specialist in reanimation and medical director of the clinic. Organiser Hans Wohl is happy about the renewed collaboration. “We have been lucky that nothing really bad ever happened during the event. The main problem are blisters, sometimes somebody falls and last year we had to send an ambulance because one of the walkers had a cardiac problem.”
Life & Sun Clinic is a medical centre that specialises also in wellness, plastic surgery and recovery programmes for sports.
